LOLz i love the bear. Where i live, im the only russian kid so im practacly worshiped there. People love a thick russian accent and beard! the bear is in no way racist. Bears are native to portions of siberia and a russia without vodka would be like crappy france.

Hi! Excellent job! I actually laughed my bum off! I own a little Russian restaurant up in northern B.C. Guess what people ask for? Vodka! Stereotypes make me money. Native Russian accent helps to sell it too
Anyway, I had an idea in mind of a ‘Vodka Tasting’, like wine tasting but vodka instead… people replied to the idea. I’m about to make poster for the event and I was wondering if I could use this one with a bit of photoshop?

Well, I don’t think that you could accuse me of racist stereotyping because the image is after all a bear. I’m no expert of course, and if you are inclined to educate me as to the bear’s race, I’d be happy to listen. I’m guessing that you feel the vodka contributes to an ethnic stereotype. Perhaps. I think what contributes more are the many Russians who claim that vodka is culturally essential.

hmmm… I’m not sure that image that you have draw is all that appealing to the russian audience.
On contrary, I might add, its full of all stereotypes that are promoted by people who hate all russians on the ethnic/rassist grounds…

One thing – Zach, why does the pretty pic of the bear drinking whatever have graffiti on it? Look round his coat. Just wondering, because the artwork is so good, you should be a full-time artist if you aren’t already. How was Russia?
