I just returned from my Grandmother’s funeral. She was 87. This is a quick drawing I did in my sketchbook of my grandpa (89) when he fell asleep in his chair. He and my Grandmother were married for 67 years.

I’m really sorry to hear about your grandmother. At least 67 years is a long time by human standards–and it’s always encouraging to learn about people who believed more strongly in their marriage than in the culture surrounding them.
